A local fisherman caught us a fish (we had asked for one that would feed two) - it weighed 3 Kilos - enough for three meals and took Col an hour to fillet!
Back across the Tropic of Capricorn, almost two months after first crossing it in Namibia

The island is called Pansy after these pretty shells that are found in the waters around it

One of the four classrooms at the school. There are two classes a day as there are too many children to teach in one sitting
The teachers come over from the mainland and do two month rotas - this is where they live while they are on the island!
And this is their clinic! Again the nurses come over from the mainland and do two month rotas
We were given a gin cocktail after lunch - tasty but very alcoholic 😂
We were kept company at the apartment by three very sweet kittens and their Mum - always in the hope of getting fed 😊
Tofo has some really great restaurants and Tuesday night is live music at Tofo Tofo. The band were great
Believe it or not but this Land Cruiser was still being used and driven by the surf school 😱
